Silence Space Sound Speech

An hour of guided spirituality: song, scripture, silence & sayings.

The hour

You arrive, you're given a mat and a blanket, and the room goes dark. For the first half there is only music — hymns, contemporary worship songs, and long unmeasured passages somewhere between a sound bath and plainsong. You don't have to sing. Most people don't.

In the second half you're guided through a single short passage of scripture. It's read slowly, more than once, and you sit with it. There's prayer at the close, spoken over the room. You are never asked to speak, perform, sign up for anything, or believe anything on your way in or out.

No sermon. No offering. No one will follow up.
